Kendrick Perkins Out Up to Six Weeks Following Groin Surgery

OKC Thunder center Kendrick Perkins underwent surgery to repair a left groin strain, and he’s expected to miss up to six weeks of action. Per the Oklahoman:

    Perhaps this will finally convince Presti and Brooks that Perkins, whatever his abilities as a leader, is a very, very bad player who has no place in a contender’s starting lineup.

    I hope they go on a tear, and that all of their advanced metrics point in the direction of showing that he is useless. Unless there’s some sort of ‘scowl shares per 48 minutes’. That metric will tank.
