this is not good at all for them. i don’t have numbers to back this up but i feel like they are below average when nene does not play for them. maybe someone can bring some stats for what the wizards record is with and without nene

pretty sure they’re like 8-30 something when he’s not in the line up. Play around .500 ball with him on the court. You’re right, their playoff hopes are in jeopardy with this one. If, (and that’s a big IF) a couple of east teams get hot they could be very well out of it. Still hope they make it tho, personally.

This is good for all other teams out East, horrible for Washington. If things were to go to my liking, I want to see Washington get the 8th seed and take atleast 2 unsuspecting games away from Miami in the first rd.. yes Miami will be #1 seed when it is all said and done imo.

I remember reading somewhere (I think it was Grantland) that said the Wizards average more rebounds as a team when he’s in the game as opposed to when he’s out. He’s the guy who boxes out so his teammates are in a better position to grab rebounds. Kinda like a defensive tackle who opens up space so the ends or linebackers can get their sacks. Doesn’t show up on the stat sheet, but valuable nonetheless.

oh okay, so he’s like a Robin Lopez.

Suck for the Wiz. Nene has been really solid this year. He plays pretty good defense, finishes around the rim and hits timely baskets.

Its too late for that, right now its playoffs or limbo

Theyre 60-61 with him and 8-34 without him. So yeah, its a big deal
