Tracy McGrady May Become a Pro Baseball Player

Jeff Van Gundy randomly brought up the subject on Friday night during a Thunder/Nets telecast, and KPRC-TV Houston reported that Tracy McGrady is eyeing a pro baseball career with the awesomely-named Sugar Land Skeeters:

    This dude is trying to play baseball in an indepent league and all of a sudden the media’s reporting he’s eyeing a career in pro baseball. If Tony Gonzalez joins a basketball league at his local ymca would he be eyeing a career in pro basketball too? If derrick Jeter joins a gym that has an Olympic sized pool would he be trying to make the Olympic swim team? Come on media! Get your act together.
