Kyrie Irving Out for at Least Two Weeks With Biceps Injury

The Cleveland Cavaliers downplayed the doomsday scenario originally feared regarding Kyrie Irving and his injured left biceps, announcing instead that the All-Star guard will be sidelined for a couple of weeks. From the press release:

Imaging revealed a strain in the long head tendon of his left biceps. Irving will now undergo a period of inactivity for his left biceps and be re-evaluated in two weeks. The injury’s response during this period will determine the most appropriate course of treatment and his status will be updated as appropriate.
