Kent Bazemore to Undergo Season-Ending Foot Surgery

The Los Angeles Lakers announced Monday that Kent Bazemore will go under the knife to repair a foot injury he suffered against the Clippers on Sunday. (Xavier Henry is also done for the season, as he’s set for wrist and knee surgeries.) From the press release:

Los Angeles Lakers guard/forward Kent Bazemore, who was injured in (Sunday’s) game against the Clippers, had an MRI exam (Monday) morning that showed that he has a torn peroneus longus tendon in his right foot. Bazemore will miss the remainder of the season and will undergo surgery to repair the tendon. A timetable for his return will be given at the conclusion of his surgery.
