Jason Kidd Fined $25,000 for Criticizing Refs Before Game 6

Brooklyn Nets head coach Jason Kidd was predictably fined $25K by the NBA for publicly blasting the officials. With the Nets on the brink of elimination heading into Game 6 against the Toronto Raptors, Kidd wasn’t the only Net looking to get a few extra favorable calls from the refs going forward. From the press release:

Brooklyn Nets head coach Jason Kidd has been fined $25,000 for public criticism of the officiating, it was announced Friday by Rod Thorn, President, Basketball Operations.

Kidd made his comments during a conference call with the media on Thursday, May 1.
