Rashard Lewis Has a Horse

But not just any regular old horse, it’s one that will be competing in the Derby: “Magic forward Rashard Lewis could have two major events going on in his world Saturday: A possible Game 7 playoff game at home against the Sixers. And a horse in the Kentucky Derby. Lewis is co-owner of Join in the Dance, who in fact, joined the Run for the Roses after another horse was scratched. Lewis owns the horse with Todd Pletcher. Lewis said he was ‘very surprised’ that Join in the Dance made the field, adding. ‘We’re a long-shot at winning it, but it’s an honor to get into it.’”

As long as it’s not that teal colored piston horse from the old Detroit jerseys.

The horse isn’t really expected to win anything or perform especially well but it’s very well paid.

Competiting? Really? Nice choice of (imaginary) words.

And doyouwantmore wins the Burn of the Day award. That was beautiful.

They do have that workhorse in the paint, who will grab all the rebounds by his chucking team and the other opposing chucking team. And now whom bucks you with his elbows when upset. His race name is like SuperDwightKnight12 or something as ridiculous to go along with “Join in the Dance.”

“We’re a long-shot at winning it, but it’s an honor to get into it.” I’m not even sure if he’s talking about Horse Racing anymore lol

A lame horse…? You realise if he can start breeding/owning/buying thoroughbred racing horses, he’ll actually get paid more than his hefty contract is now?! He’ll probably retire after this playoff run if his horse wins it.

Keeping in the ‘NBA family’, Nate Robinson is his jockey.
