Dwight Howard’s 6th Technical Disappears

The NBA rescinded what would have been Howard’s final technical before a one-game suspension: “Dwight Howard had his technical foul from Game 4 of the Eastern Conference finals rescinded by the NBA. Howard was given his sixth technical of the playoffs for taunting Anderson Varejao after a layup in the fourth quarter of the Magic’s 116-114 overtime victory Tuesday night.”

    What about the points from the free throws on tech’s rescinded? They should have a league official on hand for playoff games who can clear these messes up on the spot.

    @ nate the great: They would have to go back and play overtime, but, since Orlando won by a decent margin, it didnt matter.

    Shouldn’t they rescind Ewing’s tech too, since I’m guessing he only got his because he was protesting Dwight’s? Which was rescinded because the officials are morons?

    rescind the refs’ salaries for calls they blow more like it. and Ascind a tech for Mo Williams for throwing the ball at Dwight.

    It’s hard not to be a conspiracy theorist with how blatantly biased the refs are. Being an NBA ref is like being the President of the United states: zero accountability

    you kno how coaches and stuff get fined when they complain?
    i think refs when they make stupid calls just like that should get fined.
    this is going on way to long, someone has to do something.
