Vujacic Left Slovenian National Team

The Los Angeles Lakers guard Sasha Vujacic has left the Slovenian national team which is preparing for upcoming European championship. The head coach of the Slovenian team decided to release Vujacic because of his knee injury. The coach thinks that Vujacic won’t be in playing shape in time.

    Good for the Slovenian team. Vujajic is the most annoying player in the NBA. He thinks he’s never fouled anyone in his career. You are a joke if you give yourself a nickname…u gotta let others start calling you the Machine.

    dude, Vujacic had better ball-it-up this season or the jury of public opinion might cause him to explode. Is there ANYONE who likes this guy? He makes Luke Walton tolerable. Hell, even awesome.

    The decision to cut him from the team caused a bit of an uproar. It happened once before in a junior national team and it took years for him to agree to play again and now this.

    But there are unconfirmed rumours of a rift in the lockeroom, so it might not have all been injury related.

    Ohhhhhh yeah! You were at the Sydney game, correct? Tonights game was televised live here… did they show it over there? Or maybe the result was seen as a foregone conclusion?! I mean, 22 points?     Well Bogut didn’t play either ‘Saber haha. He’s down in Melbourne.
    Pretty sure the game was shown on Fox here, not on free TV.
    And yes, we aren’t doing too well right now in sport in general. Still, we won some medals in the athletics this week, and my dude Steve Hooker went well.
    NZ should’ve won game 1 imo. They were much better in transition and rebounding wise they were doooominant all game. Ingles kept us in it and ahead because whoever guarded him didn’t seem to realise that he was right-handed (lol). NZ WERE ahead by 10pts at one stage too..
    Still, Ater will likely guard Hedo when the Aussies play Turkey on their tour of China – and he’ll guard Yi vs. China if he doesn’t b!tch out to Jersey early. Let ‘The Terror’ show his character against skilled NBA forwards.

    I know Andrew didn’t play, he’s in Vancouver and hasn’t played contact b-ball in 6 months due to that back fracture, but he’s such a patriot (as he should be) so a little teasing will sting him.

    I saw Patty Mills too. He looked like a ghost.. in no way was that intended to be racist, but he looked the shell of a man. Dishevelled and tired. 4 day beard growth. Still on crutches.
    Was a sad sight.
    Boguts not THAT much of a patriot. He cares yeh, but not on the level of some of the other guys in the squad.

    Good lord, can you believe how something gets repeated over and over until it’s “true”? Vujacic did NOT name himself “The Machine”. It was first given by Lakers local TV broadcasters Joel Meyers and Stu Lance. Vujacic is still annoying, though.
