Hart is on Partizans’ Radar

Former Denver Nuggets guard Jason Hart could end up playing for a Serbian powerhouse Partizan Belgrade team. The team is now searching for a new starting point guard and Hart is one of the candidates.

@ d. j. whole european basketball is based on a different philosophy, defense really matters, same like nba when it is the play-off time. every team in nba plays at least 82 regular games and it is not that scary if you loose one, two or five games out of ten.

but in europe, you cannot afford that kind of luxury to loose a game that it doesent hurt your staning and latter chanses to get a play-off spot. so, you have to play defense from start of the season. this little thing makes european basketball much more competitive then the regular nba season.

    in a word – that’s good.

“I wish Europe would find their own players and quit gobbling up our second and third string guys… ”

is there any difference with the nba? for a couple of decade, nba is taking best european players (drazen petrovic, vlade divac, arvydas sabonis, toni kukoc, tony parker, peja stojakovic, dirk novitzki…) and i can understand that. but what the hell are darko milicic, marc gasol, bostjan nahbar, vladimir radmanovic, rudy fernandez, david navarro, victor khriapa, sharunas jasikevichius doing in nba!?

They originally would fit the european basketball, but over there, they are just wasting theirs and yours time and patience…

european players have to change their style to play nba, nba players have to change their style to play in europe.

    it is silly.

This dude and Jason Kapono used to beast on the Bobcats in 04/5. They got destroyed every game, but they didn’t give a sh*t. Came back just as hard, even though they lost 80% of their games that year.

This player is not intresting for Partizan…this is another rumor…european basketball is better,we have supporters on our games, player’s go to Partizan,PAO,Barca,Real because they love this teams, not only because of money….All team’s in NBA have big budget’s,and it is easy to play and win championship…in europe is not like that,Partizan every season have max budget of 2 mil. euros…and they beat team like CSKA,Real,Lottomatica,Efes,PAO(last season) who got monster budgets!!!!this is basketball, not NBA where everything is full of money.
