Kaman Replaces Roy on All-Star Team

He may not have been a candidate, but he’s certified official now. From the NBA league office: “Los Angeles Clippers center Chris Kaman has been named by NBA Commissioner David Stern to replace injured West All-Star guard Brandon Roy (right hamstring strain) of the Portland Trail Blazers in the 2010 NBA All-Star Game in Dallas. Kaman will be making his first All-Star appearance.”

I was looking for the nod to go to Rudy Gay or Monta Ellis… because APPARENTLY records don’t mean anything.

Kaman is having a great year, but like many of you, I feel they shoulda selected another guard.. Parker,B.Davis,Evens,Brooks,Gay (hey, he can go both ways) .

Co-sign Jukai and tavoris. Team records shouldn’t mean that much at all in All-Star games. Since when did All-Star selections become MVP races?
