Looks like it’s going to be a good one although St. Patrick and St. Benedicts are very noticeably missing. Also, it sucks that because of the seeding there won’t be another Findlay Prep/ Oak Hill final. But regardless, it seems like it could shape out to be a tough one for any team to get to that final day of competition.

Thought that Jersey was going to allow St. Pat’s in? Right there with you on the lack of Oak Hill/Findlay final. Saw Montverde play a number of times this year (both in person and on tv) and while I love Villanova commit James Bell, don’t feel that they were anywhere near deserving of getting the top seed.

One other note: Many state governing bodies will not let their member high school teams participate in this event. This is why the majority of the member schools competing are from Florida/North Carolina (where their rules are a little more chill). I know first hand that the OHSAA would not allow Columbus Northland (the nation’s #1 team) to take part. Same goes for Yates out of Houston.

Man we need the other upper echelon teams. It would be WAAAAAAAAAAYYYYYY better

east coast bias. Texas has better teams, better players.

@Adrian: Like I was saying, the state of Texas does not allow schools like Yates, DeSoto, Duncanville, Lincoln, Lancaster, etc to participate. There’s no denying that they could hold their own. The only Texas schools that would be in would be schools such as God’s Academy, Trent Internationale, Life Center out of Humble, etc…
