“USA Basketball and the Trail Blazers have been tremendous Nike partners helping to take the Hoop Summit to unprecedented heights the past few years,” said Lynn Merritt, V.P. of Nike Global Basketball Sports Marketing. “We are thrilled to bring the world’s best young talent to Portland the next two years and look forward to watching them compete in basketball’s premier international youth event in our own backyard.”

“The Nike Hoop Summit is one of the single best places to watch the next generation of NBA players compete against one another, and we are very excited to be a part of it once again,” said Trail Blazers president Larry Miller. “The fact that Portland will host the game for a record fifth consecutive year in 2012 speaks to the great relationship we have with USA Basketball and Nike, and the passion this community has for the game of basketball.”
