Bloomington South Wins Indiana’s Class 4A Championship

Bloomington South defeated Kokomo 56-42 Saturday, winning Indiana’s Class 4A Championship behind Desmond Marks’ 14 points and 8 rebounds and Dee Davis’ 13-point, 7-assist effort. Ben Stowell also pitched in 11 points. For Kokomo, Armon Bridgeforth dropped a team-high 13, while Cheyse Swain added 12. Bloomington limited Kokomo to 29.3 percent shooting and had four players score in double figures in total. Senior guard Spencer Turner earned the Trester Award, and the Bloomington South seniors ended their careers with 94 wins and two 4A state championships.
