Nicolas Batum Signs With French Team SLUC Nancy

With the prospects of the ’11-12 season looking increasing dim, yet another NBAer has signed on to play overseas. Info via BasketSession, translation via HoopsHype: “Nicolas Batum has signed with SLUC Nancy. The Blazers forward will start the season at Pro A and the Euroleague with Nancy in the probable case the start of the NBA season is delayed by the lockout.”

    Hope there is an escape clause in the contract?? As much as I like Batum, I think his days may be numbered in Portland.
