Ron Artest to Join ‘Dancing With the Stars’?

TMZ reports that Ron-Ron and “Dancing With the Stars” producers have been having talks about the Laker possibly appearing on the popular show: “Ron Artest has a back-up plan in case the NBA lockout torpedoes next season — we’re told, Mr. World Peace is currently in talks with ‘Dancing with the Stars’ … and is seriously thinking about competing. Nothing’s official yet — but sources tell us, both Artest and ‘Dancing’ producers have been in touch to hash out a possible deal … and Ron’s pretty excited about the prospect.”

Would someone please define the word “star”? If you’re on a show that has “celebrity” or “star” in the title, chances are you’re either going to be alongside John Salley and you ain’t a celebrity or a star.

Hahaha 12 years in and Ron Ron still isn’t co-ordinated enough to dribble with his left hand. I’d love to see him take on dancing.

    That’d be hilarious.

J.C. Not really true. Ron is better with his left than his right. While no one would call him a good ball handler he has held his own against good defenders D’n up on him. He use to run point forward quite a bit. He’s no worse than any other small forward. Way better than Rashard Lewis but no one calls him out because he is to afraid to dribble so you don’t see him handle the ball ever.

lakeshow: ron is a terrible ball handler. rashard lewis is not even a real 3 – he’s a 4 that can shoot.

T-Money, He was always a 3 in seattle and was forced to play the stretch 4(basically another 3) in Orlando because they didn’t have a powerforward.

Dennis Rodman (in drag) is going to be his dance partner. The NBA is cool with it and everything.
