Is the new school underground gonna get any love or not? J.cole,lupe,C.Webby, and many more worth of attention

  • starry eyed

Immortal has been consistenly killin it for long enough that must be said ,he’s one of the best when he’s talkin about politics

  • Ngoie Kafita

    J. Cole and Lupe aren’t underground no more.
Try Mysonne, Meyhem Lauren and Action Bronson instead.

  • HAMMER

Hell yeah! Its bout time this cat got sum luv. “Dance with the devil” is my personal fav of his. Is that wrong considering the content of that song? First time I heard it gave me the chills. Song is so powerful and that piano sample is just dope.

jcole and lupe are def not underground. lupe let me down with lasers.
and dance with the devil is still the most f*cked up song ive ever heard.

The epitome of boring, overrated, sleep-inducing, RAN, underground rapper. I cant stand this dude’s music

  • DieselMechanic

    The most socially-conscious rapper alive.

  • HAMMER

Co-sign airs. No doubt its twisted, dark and f√¢ked up. First time that I heard that song it left me speechless.

    Two Words: Simply Amazing

  • TL

There’s no such thing as underground anymore. They’re just called indie rappers now, right?

  • http://www.bulls.com Enigmatic

I used to be a big fan of Technique. He’s absolutely ferocious on the mic. But I got a little tired of all the political talk. It’s cool to do it every once in a while, but when it’s 90% of what you rap about, you gotta switch it up. Plus I’m former military and I know how dude feels about the military so, there’s that.
As for “Dance With the Devil”, yeah that ending was crazy.

@Enigmatic…..Dance With the Devil is just something else….and for those who actually own that album…after that song ends…30 seconds later, a hidden track appears….Diabolic and Immortal just killing it….ps…LUPE SUCKS!!

K-RINO…………. THE DAY OF THE STORM…..SICKEST NEW ALBUM. LISTEN TO IT, THEN REALIZE WHAT CRAP YOUVE THOUGHT WAS GREAT.

  • http://thahiphopcorner.com Kevin

Now K-Rino is that dude. S.P.C the greatest rap click ever

  • idrees

u guys finally give technique some love…

  • HAMMER

Opinion by the Caveman. Thank god its not fact. And that’d no diss towards K-Rino

  • idrees

u guys finally give technique some love… next up, lowkey!

  • http://www.imdb.com TheBigL

Yessss. This guy straight delivers. Big fan of his. Anyone know anything about any upcoming album or mixtape of his?

  • http://www.bulls.com Enigmatic

    Tarzan – I heard K-Rino. Wasn’t impressed. Sorry.

  • http://www.blogabull.com/ CheecaagoMayne

People who think Lupe sucks obviously have only heard kick push. Lupe makes songs that are just as political as immortal’s w/o having such a horrible flow. BTW Lupe would rap circles around immortal.

  • http://www.youtube.com/user/officerbarbrady what

Big Krit is the best underground rapper.

  • bashmo

J.Cole is the man still.. The Warm up , The Come Up and Friday Night Lights have some great tracks

  • http://www.facebook.com/joe.l.brewer3 BlackPhantom

    @CheecagoMayne co-sign 100% Lupe is my favorite Modern-Day MC

  • http://www.blogabull.com/ CheecaagoMayne

@BlackPhantom yea, it just bothers me when people put Lupe in the same crowd as Lil Wayne and others b/c he is a “mainstream artist”.

  • Heals

Good points Enigmatic and for all the heads pushin JCole and Lupe; take a number and wait your turn. Also for all the Dance with the Devil talk how can we not mention the nasty 2-minute or so flow/interlude at the end of it…

  • Heals

ma bad, @fruizm was on it, also it’s all good either way but I was feelin songs for layup lines over the artists themselves…

  • http://slamonline.com Tae

    Makaveli is better

  • http://thetroyblog.com Teddy-the-Bear

The creepiest rap song I’ve ever heard is “Mind of a Lunatic” by the Geto Boys. That sh!t is downright disturbing. The title does warn you though…

  • http://thetroyblog.com Teddy-the-Bear

Okay maybe not THE creepiest song I’ve ever heard, but it’s a candidate.

  • http://www.facebook.com/joe.l.brewer3 BlackPhantom

    Post some RATM

  • kiwi_intheUK

post some tech n9ne – dysfunctional

  • RoG23

YES!!!!! The best rapper alive imo!!!!

  • http://www.slamonline.com UNFROZEN CAVEMAN LAWYER

ENIG, CHECK HIS NEWEST. TEDDY, THE CREEPIEST STUFF IS BY BROTHA LYNCH

    One of the illest.

Few spit more universal truth. Few have lyrics that reach out to the world and more people. Few are trying to make music to create a change in the world, and not just in their wallet. Immortal came forth because the world needed him, and I hope his calling is heard.
