    One verse that always had me chuckling was when he described her man as “a rooty-toot, a nincompoop”. Cuz seriously, who uses the word nincompoop? Hilarious. Luv the song tho.

    Love this song. The Pharcyde were pretty overlooked but they had some great songs, and what I loved most about them was they weren’t afraid of having a little fun while most other rappers were out there trying to prove how thugged out they were or trying to blow your minds with super-complex rhymes.
    @Hammer – probably the funniest, like “what’d he just say?” insult I ever heard in a rap song was on The Problemaddict’s song “Hurting” which featured Masta Ace, and dude straight up called these wack MCs “kumquats”.
    I was like…kumquat? WTF? Lol

    Insane. I haven’t heard this song in ages and I decide to listen to it yesterday, and bloaw! its on slam. I like coincidences. The whole theme of the song I like, Im glad I wasn’t the only wimp that was afraid to tell their crush how they feel about them.

    Co-sign Enigmatic. Cuz, I mean, back when The Pharcyde 1st started, the West was only known for its “gangsta rap”. It was refreshing 2 c a group of rappers from the West who could rap, have fun with it, and not rap bout “bustin caps”.

    Hip-hop music that EVERYONE can relate to at some point of their life. Pharcyde did have some overlooked bangers. “Drop,” and “Runnin’” were official tissue too. Speaking of which, the other day I found an old mixtape and heard Nice N SMooth’s “Can’t Have Your Cake And Eat It Too Remix.” The one with the singing on the hook. BANGER!
