Andrew Bogut Says Elbow Will Be Limited Forever

We still think the Bucks‘ center has Top-50 potential in ’11-12, but the Aussie says his surgically-repaired elbow will have limitations “for (his) whole life.” Andrew Bogut spoke to the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel: “‘I will have limitations my whole life, but compared to where I was this time last year, it’s night and day better. I am shooting every day and lifting weights four times a week. My elbow still gets very achy if I overdo training (too many shots in one day), so I still have to be a little bit careful.’”

hahaaa @ Zogs – Don’t worry “The Boogie Man” will get his…. I got this guy in NBA 2k11 on the Suns (best trade scenario for getting rid of Turkoglu it was…) – KILLS IT.

    Damn, that’s sad..

So long as he can rebound, defend the paint and score around the basket he’ll be fine. He wasn’t exactly launching from 20 feet to begin with.

he is seven feet tall, over 260, doesnt think hes a guard like most other bigs these days, has basketball iq, a post game, long arms and a good attitude. how many bigs can you say that about these days, he will be one of the best centers in the L just because the position is atrocious

    Prediction:
3 more years he will retire.

  • Heals

Not trying to be insensitive, but this shouldn’t surprise many folks. I mean the human body can do some remarkable things, but that injury was uniquely gruesome. I think coming back as he has is impressive on it’s own…

lol @ the philosopher. u trolling? bogut may be near his prime then, far from retiring. this is no news, lots of people have injuries that are never the same, doesnt mean it gonna stop them from performing. its his elbow not his knee or ankle.
