Pockets filled with more high notes than the opera

Just saw this video on MTV Jams the other day. Things pretty much went downhill from here for Shyne.
I hate this guy.
Shyne, not a bad choice.
One of the best tracks ever made, pure classic.
Barrington Levy is awesome. So many cd’s though lol.
Can we talk about new music instead?
skibbidy dabiddidde didiily dadddaleeeee doooodileeee
I f**ks with Shyne cause he from BK, but eeehhhh. He only had 2 good songs and it was mainly cause Barrington Levy made em dope.
SHYNE PO!!!!!! WHAT YALL KNOW BOUT BARRINGTON LEVY?
“Its a Bad Boy thing”. Dope! I luved his debut album. And “Godfather buried alive” was pretty nice too. Such a shame how it all panned out for him. And how the hell can people say that he sounded like Biggie? F√¢k that!
YEA, GODFATHER BURIED ALIVE WAS A REALLY NICE ALBUM. …. ISNT HE EXILED IN PANAMA?
@Hammer I think at first listen, his voice reminded people of Biggie, but as he put out more songs, the difference became clear.
Yeah, it’s still amazing how much he sounded like Biggie back then.
@dfrance21. Shyne’s voice was more baritone than Biggie’s. Also Shyne, to me, always sounded like he had the flu. And when Shyne came out, honestly, it never even crossed my mind that he sounded like Biggie. Reminded? Maybe. Sounded like? No. There’s a diff. But that’s just my opinion.
All Puffy had to do was take a plea.
Both of them would have been free in a year.
Can’t blame Puff, though.
He owed Clive that money. He had to get Clive the money.
Clive Davis was going to let NOTHING happen to the ORIGINAL… college thug.
Word. I never thought Shyne sounded like BIG. Now, Gorilla Black sounded like BIG. That said, even though I was never a big Shyne fan, his old style is SO much better than this new sh*t he’s using to sound different. Simply horrible…
Biggie always sounded like he was stuffy too? Sounding like he needed a decongestant and a nebulizer on every track on Life After Death…
@ O. Gorilla Black. I was trying to remember who it was that did sound like Biggie. I saw him one time on a music video (Can’t remember the name of the song. All I remember is him getting out of a limo in the video, I believe to board a private jet) and I said, “What the f√¢k is this?” I thought it was some kind of spoof.
@Hammer I don’t know, I think most people would say he sounded like Biggie. Were their voices the same? No. And it wasn’t to the point that one would mistake a Shyne song for Biggie’s or vice versa, but they were similar. Basically like Shyne was doing a bad Biggie impersonation. But people hear things differently so I’m not shocked that you don’t agree.
I hear ya dfrance21. I know im in the minority on this one. But its all good man.
Shyne didn’t sound like BIG at all to me.
But listen to Gorilla Black’s “Compton” and you’d SWEAR it was Biggie…minus the dope lyrics.
Also, Blac Haze sounded like Pac, remember him?
Listen to “I’mma Die Hustler”, it’s eerie.
And Shyne’s debut album had some bangers.
This track, “The Commission”, and “The Life” were dope.
Fu*k Puffy. Snake a*s ni**a
Oh, “The Commission” is dope. If “Bad Boyz” wasn’t on his debut album, that would be my fav track off of it. “Never tellin or snitchin/Rather swim with the fish’n/Muthaf√¢kin respect it/The commission/Uhh”.
Can I get some Canton Jones!!
Did you know that Shyne’s father was the president of Belize? Like, actually.
Actually, *still is.
Shyne sucks. Why he keeps using that god awful voice now is beyond me
