LeBron James Plays Flag Football With Strangers

Many NBA players are up to interesting things during these locked-out times, but we can’t say we expected to hear LeBron James has taken up flag football as a hobby. According to NYC Social Sports Club, Bron saw a pick-up game going on and jumped in, playing a multitude of positions, and even grabbed a couple of picks and caught a touchdown: “He just randomly walked into the field and went up to one of the teams that was standing on the sidelines and said, ‘Hey are you guys done?’ Everyone was like ‘No no no! Come play!’ He played on the Military team (Untouchables). He quarter backed, played defence [sic], and wide receiver. He caught two interceptions, which were pretty impressive, and then he took a picture with us! When he scored a touchdown he did the Cat Daddy dance which I then did too and we had a little dance off. He was there for 10-15 minutes with a guy who was either body guard, or a friend, or both! Then he left!”

What they fail to mention is that his team lost.

It was cool, then he told us we have to wake up to our jobs and lives tomorrow instead of becoming him. Lol

he would have made a great tight end somewhere…a bigger, faster Antonio Gates starts on any team in the League.

That’s really cool. I’m glad we have athletes who don’t think it’s above them to just have fun with us everyday people. Big ups Lebron

PR move, by far. At least the people showed him some love and didn’t call him LePippen, Le3rdqter, LeRomo, LeBrick, LeDrop or LeQuit. I am glad the people played with him, great PR move Lebron.

Why lebron james didnt destroyed dallas??! i mean, i like him as a player and i collect his upper deck cards, but man!! i lost 200 dollars on these finals…sucks…and like…didnt he said, “man, once the games start. it’s gonna be easy” man, i guess not, cause he didn’t do jack against dallas..at least his cards are worth quite some money, so i will be keeping them =)

not only did his team lose, near the end of the game he stayed covered on purpose so nobody would pass him the ball

I’m on his left in the picture (right under his shoulder)! For your information (the haters), he was a cool, down to earth guy. At first, his people said “no pictures” but then let everyone take pictures anyway. He played about 20-25 minutes with us and told me I had a “nice spiral” and I was his “go to receiver”. So…whatever his business decisions are, he’s still a nice person and appeared to be having fun with us. It was a treat! And to the commenter who asked what park this was..it was Chelsea Park on 28th and 10th.

^We don’t believe you, you need more people. jk
If you’re for real, good to hear a testimonial from someone who has actualy interacted with him.

Why are people commenting about LeBron James playing basketball on a feel-good article about flag football? The season is over, lets move on shall we? Go watch some football and better yet stop posting comments that are all speculation. Lets face it no one knows the guy (except maybe the ones in the photo)and they say he was cool. No one else thinks bad of him except NBA fans who think he was a jerk for leaving Cleveland. Last time I checked he didnt break any rules and did what was best for him. Everyone wanted him to make a big announcement out of The Decision ( fans, ESPN, NBA teams) until they found out he wasnt coming to their team. He did it to win and not for money and all bad feelings for LeBron are just stupid and make no sense.
