Cam is the most underrated rapper in the game…if he wanted to he could destroy any1 out right now…harlem stand up
you mouth-breathers that come in here EVERYDAY and sh!t on vidoes/request videos that you like better are morons.
Go to YouTube, it has a search bar, its great.
Just voicing an opion. The whole point is to genrate intrest/comments.
oh my god, the worst rap group that ever existed..hey kobeBESTfriend, u must be smokin the same crack as Cam’ron..that guy is SERIOUSLY the worst rapper i ever heard..i never understood how anybody could like him..i always hav to fastforward his part whenever he pops up on good songs such as “Fantastic Four”, “Banned from T.V.” or “Gone”..Cam’ron gettin paid to rap is the biggest injustice in the history of HipHop
Boing Dynasty, you go to YouTube.
You’d fit right in with the rest of the sh*t-talkers over there, calling people you don’t even know “morons”. SMH
i see a town im liking, see some n’s getting money in the town i like it,yeaaahhhhhhh
Enigmatic: u seem to have a great taste for 90′s rap/hip-hop. i come on here to find new(old) music that i havent heard before. so, im curious: what is your top 10 songs of all time? thanks
I’m not going to lie, I thought Cam was one of the most overrated.
I think Cam is a good rapper, overrated by some, underrated by others. Loved the whole Dipset movement though.
Boing people have different tastes, doesn’t make them morons if their likes don’t jive with yours.
diplomatic immunity was an underrated album…killa, jim, juelz, freaky, and hell rell at their best
@kobesBESTfriend….haha, hes good….but youre definitely WRONG.
i dont think yall understand, especially u old heads, what dipset era meant to young dudes like myself.lol it was the flyest ish ever like jimmy say at the end “thats powerful muzik man”
I’m on the West Side of Chicago lookin for a bust down!
Man when diplomatic immunitty came out, i was a freshman in college, you could walk thru any floor of the male dorm and hear at least 8 out of 10 rooms yanging the dips. They movement and swag really spoke to my generation…
People who complain about the South ruining rap and then champion Dipset are suspect in the highest.
That is all.
every generation thinks whatever comes next sucks. DipSet ruled the early 2000s. Whether you like it or not, it’s a fact. sure, they didn’t rap about politics, poverty, and meaningful things that you old heads are obsessed with but they did their thing and had enough followers to garner magazine covers and record sales. gotta respect the hustle.
Cam is nice but the rest are wack! juelz n jimmy have no flow!!!
Allenp said it all. @GotSouljoboy?
Co-sign Caveman AND Allenp…
I have to say, I grew up in the REAL hip-hop era. I say REAL because we had groups like M.O.P, DPG, Heltah Skeltah, Smif-N-Wessun, CNN – duos who shows would be filled with REAL thugs and gangstas. I remember going to these dudes shows with my crew and bopping my head while gripping my banger througout the whole show because I didn’t know when – not if – it was going to pop off. Dip Set on the other hand is the music to wannabe thugs and pretty boy hoods. Going to one of their shows is like attending fashion week. Cam is a dope rapper, Juelz is an average rapper and Jim Jones is a hype man turned horrible rapper. The only thing that saves them are their beats (Dip Set Anthem is a perfect example).
When one compares the amount of good songs they have for they amount of music they released then most definitely they are overrated, but there are certainly some real bangers (albeit sometimes using others’ beats) from 40cal, Hell Rell, any of their “freestyle” tracks, etc. Throw in some of the Dipset branches like Eurogang, SAS and there is certainly some good stuff. It’s also reflective of time period/region (IMO) in a struggle to grapple with how to embrace the past , but still be “ahead if the curve.” Lastly, if I was to make a best of Dipset mix this track wouldn’t have made the reserves…
2004. whoa. Pretty thugs (no homo), think, they got thugs to wear pink, no doubt. “I really Mean it”, that was my jam. Purple haze was the album though. Damn JR Writer, the writer of writers, and Vado took that like whoa.
cam isent overatted at all if u listened to his newer mixtapes liek any of the boss of all bosses series you would be shocked ecspecially with his up and coming rapper vado
@logues – Damn, that’s no easy task. First, my bad for not hitting you back sooner, but had a busy day today.
