Overseas Not an Option for Brandon Knight

Rather than playing another full NCAA season, Brandon Knight‘s first pro year is looking to be an abbreviated one. He’s going to wait it out in the US, according to the Detroit Free-Press: “Knight repeated his thoughts that playing overseas really isn’t an option, even if the lockout lingers. ‘As of now, I don’t have any interest in going overseas — maybe eventually, but as of now I’m over here training, doing certain things … and trying to get better as an individual,” Knight said. “And I can work on school. If there’s a lockout for the rest of the season, I can go back to school for the second semester.’ For now, Knight will wait along with the rest of his teammates.”

Cannot hate on him wanting to further his education.

Dude’s always been a solid student. Glad that hasn’t changed despite being on the verge of earning millions whenever the lockout ends.
