With the upset alert on, No. 4 Louisville erased an eight-point second half deficit to get past the College of Charleston, 69-62, and improve its record to 11-0.

The Cougars were no slouch entering the KFC Yum! Center Tuesday night, starting the season 9-1, including wins over Clemson and Tennessee. They were leading the game until Louisville’s Kyle Kuric made a jumper with 3:16 remaining to put his team up 60-59. Back-to-back three-pointers by Russ Smith and Chris Smith on Louisville’s next two possessions put the game out of reach.

Although Louisville has had some close calls, it still has yet to lose this season.

From Louisville.com:

“We got a lot of the work to do, as you can see we could have lost today, we could have lost Ohio, we could have lost to Vandy,” Sophomore guard Russ Smith said, “I guess guys just live for this moment,” Smith Said, “We all strapped up defensively and that was a big key”

Louisville is one of six remaining unbeaten teams. The other five are No. 1 Syracuse, No. 6 Baylor, No. 9 Missouri, No. 17 Indiana and No. 22 Murray State.
