This is one of Pac’s most overrated tracks. All Eyez On Me was an overrated album altogether. Makaveli was Pac’s true classic. All Eyez was just TOOO long with a bunch of filler joints.

  • T-Ray

    @O
I wouldn’t say overrated but Makaveli was better IMO

  • http://nyill.wordpress.com O

T, I remember trading my Ghost Face “Iron Man” album for Pac’s “All Eyez On Me” because it was 1 CD for 2. Worst trade I ever made in my life. And I once traded my Playstation for a Nintendo 64.

  • T-Ray

Man never trade cds man lol I was gonna trade my copy of the RED Album for the Carter IV lets just say I’m still blasting Ricky down Compton Blvd lol

  • Kilo

Makaveli is definatly Pac’s best album.

  • http://nyill.wordpress.com O

The RED album was slept on cause of everyone hating on Game. Carter IV was eh.

  • http://www.facebook.com/joe.l.brewer3 BlackPhantom

“Me Against the World” is Pac’s best album.

  • http://www.twitter.com/nflem41 Nicolas Fleming

Let’s be real Carter IV was trash minus the verse from Jada, the verse from 3K and the verse from NAS.

  • http://nba.com GP23

“Me Against the World” is his best work

  • T-Ray

The only reason Carter IV sold damn near 1 mill first week is cuz Birdman bought 75% of that amount lol

  • http://nyill.wordpress.com O

I liked Me Against the World, but Makaveli was next level. He was just missing that “Dear Mama”/”Keep Ya Head Up” kind of joint.

  • http://www.boogiewilliams.com Boing Dynasty

This is drop top, sunny day music, only reason to call this joint overrated is cus you somewhere cold riding the subway with headphones on.

  • Yesse

I will let you guys fight about Pac’s best album, he is still the greatest rapper ever so who cares.

  • AQWORD

I’m not a killa but don’t push me , revenge is like sweatest joy next to gettin’ p*$$y !! lol . Pac might be the greatest but KRS 1 is STILL NUMBER 1 !! Go figure.

  • http://cnbc.com JTaylor21

    nothing to write home about.

  • http://www.facebook.com/joe.l.brewer3 BlackPhantom

@Nicolas don’t forget Andre 3000 and Tech N9ne on “Interlude”

  • http://www.boogiewilliams.com Boing Dynasty

    3K is Andre 3000 ^

  • http://shinefluid@aol.com yada

all eyez on me was like the 1st hiphop double album. honestly its only like 3 tracks out of all those songs i skip pass!! “im feelin like pac out on bail headed to deathrow”

  • http://thetroyblog.com Teddy-the-Bear

N64 > Playstation, so you made a good trade there, Omar. Not so much giving away Ironman, lol.

  • ttc

all eyez on me wasn’t hip hop’s 1st double album..master p released one before..by the P’s first album “Get Away Clean” is real dope; u betta check it out if u havn’t yet..and yea HOW U WANT IT is crap..Makaveli is classic…

  • Nella

Say what you want about this album, but this track still gets the honeys on the dance floor 15 years later.

  • http://nyill.wordpress.com/ O

Any Nicki Minaj song will get honeys on the dance floor today. Not sayin’ much about Pac’s song. Teddy, Nintendo 64 was incredibly bad. Playstation had some crazy dope joints and classics. But yeah, Ironman for All Eyez On Me was one of my top 10 worst decisions as a teen.

  • http://slamonline.com Allenp

Nobody is going to question why Omar thought it was a good idea to trade a Playstation for a 64?
Serious questions were raised by that revelation.

  • T-Ray

Sh*t now all you have to do is get a PS3 and download the Playstation games to your hard drive.

  • http://slamonline.com Tae

    Dreamcast>N64>Playstation

  • http://www.slamonline.com Tarzan Cooper

Omar goof’d. This is an ok song, nothing great. It is what it is. Shoot me for the cliche.

  • http://nyill.wordpress.com Enigmatic

    Hell naw O, N64 > PS1 ALL DAY.
I feel so strongly bout it I’ma write a piece on it in NYILL!
I challenge you to write a rebuttal, b!

  • http://nyill.wordpress.com O

Allenp, The PS was a 32 bit system while the Nintendo was 64 bits. Twice the powerful graphics, right?? WRONG! The games mightve looked a LITTLE better, but the games sucked overall.

  • http://nyill.wordpress.com O

Enig, you seriously saying the N64 was a better machine than the PS1???

  • http://nyill.wordpress.com Enigmatic

    Three words, fam-
    Super.
    Smash.
    Brothers.

  • http://www.slamonline.com Tarzan Cooper

I’m glad I didn’t have video games as a kid. I enjoyed going outdoors and doing all kinds of things. Nerds!

  • http://www.slamonline.com Tarzan Cooper

Allow me to correct myself, not nerds, dorks! Eat your doritos, swill your gallons of off brand mountain dew, eat the week old hot dog you found in the couch, don’t go outside, avoid girls. Dorks!

  • http://slamonline.com Tae

Like i said earlier……Dreamcast>N64>Playstation. Its tha truth

  • http://nyill.wordpress.com O

Who said we was avoiding girls for games? We used to have shorties sitting on our laps teaching them how to play racing games and ish while we blazed a little chronic, threw back a few 40′s and ended up in the bathroom creating the beast with two backs! Dork’s my a$$!

n64 was dope, but it was more a party system. the best games on it were made for 4 players. ps1 however had some of the all time great classics. not exactly an even trade O, but you can make it work.
i’d say its like trading pau for the rights to marc

  • add

    definitely me against the world

  • http://thetroyblog.com Teddy-the-Bear

@ Omar and davidR: Which games on the PS1 were better than N64′s? Nintendo had Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time/Majora’s Mask, Mario 64, Super Smash Brothers, Donkey Kong 64, NFL Blitz and NBA Showtime (I can’t remember if these were exclusive to N64), Diddy Kong racing, and a BUNCH of great games. And believe me, I’m terrible at video games, but N64 was the baddest game machine ever invented.
Co-sign Tae, though. Dreamcast was on a whole other level… Although N64 probably had better games overall. Dreamcast was even better than early PS2 (especially for NBA 2K’s).

  • http://thetroyblog.com Teddy-the-Bear

Also “All Eyez on Me” was definitely overrated. Same with the entire Death Row Records catalog. IMO Pac’s best album was 2pacalypse now. Revolutionary Black Panther Tupac > Gangsta Suge Knight-befriending Tupac.
Me Against the World was a great album too.

  • https://plus.google.com/photos/106403650426394352312/albums/posts davidR

    teddy:
final fantasy 7-9 and a bunch of other classic RPGs, tons of sports games, fighting games like street figher and tekken, gran turismo and a whole bunch of other racing games, parappa the rapper, resident evil 1 & 2, tony hawk, and the greatest of all the playstation games:
    metal gear solid.
n64 is one of my favorite systems, but playstation has way too many solid/classic games for the n64 to compete.
and yea, dreamcast was the isht. way too ahead of it’s time though

  • http://nyill.wordpress.com O

Two words: Resident Evil. Nuff said…

  • http://nyill.wordpress.com Enigmatic

    One word-
    Goldeneye.
Revolutionized first person shooters. COD, Halo and all them can thank Goldeneye.

  • Teddy-the-Bear

I really liked Fighting Force for PS1… That was the funnest fighting game I’ve ever played.
But N64 had Perfect Dark and Turok, two great shooters in addition to Goldeneye and World is Not Enough (both classic Bond games).
