Joe Johnson to Miss All-Star Game


CBSSports.com’s Ken Berger is reporting on Twitter that Joe Johnson will miss Atlanta’s next two games and the All-Star Game this weekend due to tendinitis in his left knee. Johnson, who was in the news yesterday with his comments on the struggling Hawks, is averaging 17.6 ppg for the 19-13 Hawks.

    Joe Johnson should not have been an all-star this year…as much as I love his game he has not showed progression at all…the Hawks desperately need to make a move or they will be bounced 1st round of the playoffs…I cosign with ‘spit hot fiyah’ Josh Smith earned it this year…JJ would make a solid #2 option imo…

    Does his ASG replacement have to be a guard? If so its either Rondo or Kyrie for the spot even though I’m not too sold on either pick. If not I see Stern giving it to Danny Granger.
