Russell Westbrook Injured Ankle, Will Play in Gold-Medal Game

Russell Westbrook rolled his ankle with less than four minutes remaining in the fourth quarter against Argentina on Friday. His status for Sunday’s Gold-medal game against Spain was initially uncertain, but a source tells Yahoo! that Westbrook is “fine”:

Russell Westbrook’s mild ankle sprain won’t keep him out of USA’s gold medal game, source tells Y! “He’s fine,” source says. “He’ll play.”
