    Rondo on pace to start!

  • Redd

Wow no D. Rose and of course Lin is 3rd while not deserving it. They should start only adding players that deserve votes based on stats.

This is why I hate any kind of all-star game where fans get to vote. You end up with freaking Shane Battier and Amare Stoudemire getting more votes than Varejao.

  • Max

    Make it happen Asia!

  • LLC#12

Andrew Bynum with 68,000 votes and he’s played as many games this season as I have!!? Same with Rubio and STAT!? Varejao is playing like an all-star but he was never going to get voted in by the fans, I’m sure the coaches will get him in on the bench though. Glad to see Lin didn’t crack the top two but, still too close for my liking..the fan’s shouldn’t be allowed to vote, or they should only carry half of the votes weighting, cause this is ridiculous. Luol Deng = so unappreciated, he’s no way an All-star starter but, less votes than Bynum, Amare and Battier is ridiculous.

God, please don’t allow Jeremy Lin to make it

  • http://www.facebook.com/people/Mike-Gilbert/100001749589586 Mike Gilbert

I understand Amar’e Stoudemire, and Andrew Bynum, I even underdstand Jeremy Lin. But how in God’s name has Shane Battier gotten 59,419 votes?

  • http://www.facebook.com/people/Mike-Gilbert/100001749589586 Mike Gilbert

I’m actually really surprised that Bynum, Stoudemire and Rubio are on this list but no Rose

I actually think it’s pretty awesome battier got that many votes. Sucks he had to go to Miami to get them. Dude has always been a heck of a guy to have on your team.

  • https://twitter.com/jasontichenor Mr. Wet

one of those votes are mine. Of course, I always vote for guys like this. I somehow hope they get a message saying Mr. Wet cares about your game.

    D. Rose isn’t playing idiot. Calm down, and when he comes back just clap your meatbeaters like a stan should.

I’m EXTREMELY glad that the reserves are voted on by the coaches b/c these lists are total BS. Guys like Jrue Holiday, OJ Mayo, and Brandon Jennings will get the nod over Ray Allen, Shane Battier (WTF) and Amar’e (also a WTF pick) because OJ, Jrue and BJ all get the respect they deserve from the coaches…if you ask Doc Rivers, Mike Woodson and Avery Johnson, etc.

  • Redd

LOL somebody mad, Bynum is up there you excessive moron as is Rubio. Now sit ya dumb remedial self down.

As long as Varejao (leading rebounder and 9th most Win Shares), Westbrook (11th most Win Shares and putting up a robust 21/5/8 with 2spg), Steph Curry (20/4/6 on 43/43/90 shooting), and Joakim Noah (14/10/4 with 1.4spg/2.3bpg) find their way onto the team, I’m good.

  • Bored

    yeah not a bad idea.

  • tosin07192

surprised he’s in there, actually no I’m not these Miami Heat fans are crazy like that… don’t think he’ll make it but still, good luck to him

  • tosin07192

Luol Deng should definitely be before those three, sucks

  • tosin07192

Hopefully Rondo and KG will get in. Even though, I’d prefer for KG to rest during that weekend so that he’ll be fresh for the next games, it’ll be nice to see him and Rondo starting and playing with those guys. And I bet Rondo wouldn’t wanna pass to D-Wade, he prolly would but he won’t be excited about doing so.

  • Bored

haha you need to calm down dude.

  • LakeShow

    Battier?
We talking about Shane Battier right?

  • LakeShow

Robust? Ha, I guess that works.
He’s ballin, that’s damn sure. He’s been great this year.

  • mhm

I don’t think injured players that are out indefinetly are on the ballot maybe I’m wrong tho

  • https://twitter.com/jasontichenor Mr. Wet

I’m not saying he deserves to be an all-star, because he doesn’t. But, Ive always liked the guy. It’s cool he’s getting some love.

  • John Fresh

    KG starting? smh

  • Sakari Heiskanen

Stoudamire and Bynum lead M. Gasol and Z-Bo in voting. I’ve never had any faith in NBA fans, but this is just disgusting.

  • Redd

Yeah you’re correct but Bynum is out for a while and Rose has been rumored to return soon. But eh idk.

  • Ugh

At least he’s playing, unlike Stoudemire and Bynum.

  • Ugh

I’m surprised Joel Anthony isn’t on there.

  • Ugh

Kevin Durant has more votes than Z-Bo has people living in his home market. There’s something about All-Star voting that’s unfair.

  • VanCityBBall

If JLin is an all star in general i will seriously question the nba fans, either that or it shows the Asian immigration rate in North America

  • http://www.facebook.com/people/Mike-Gilbert/100001749589586 Mike Gilbert

It’s the same with pop music…the Oscars…The majority of people are just effin stupid

  • http://www.facebook.com/people/Mike-Gilbert/100001749589586 Mike Gilbert

lol I honestly have no idea why….he’s not even having a good season compared to the rest of his career!

  • http://www.facebook.com/people/Mike-Gilbert/100001749589586 Mike Gilbert

I could be wrong but I’m pretty sure that people in China can vote. So that would explain it.

  • Ron

No love for LAmarcus aldridge? 21/8/2…

  • Caboose

Why in the hell is nobody complaining about 16-7-2 Garnett starting? Dude is borderline even as a reserve.

  • Dacre

Tony parker continues to get snubbed and Steve nash has the highest vote to minutes played ratio of all time. : )

  • Jimmy

if david lee or steph curry dont make the all star team then an atrocity will have taken place

  • MGN

Come on guys, do you really care about the all star game? A happy offence game with no D. Where a score is 146-150 or even more.

  • MikeC.

Anyone remember when the fans voted Zo and Grant Hill as starters whule Hill was out for the season with another ankle surgery and Zo was out getting a new kidney? Fans vote for names, not production. Otherwise Andy Varejao would be top vote-getter this year.

  • http://twitter.com/sooperfadeaway nbk

    no doubt. cosign this 100%

  • http://twitter.com/sooperfadeaway nbk

“because he’s the best defender on the 9th best defense in the league” – or something.

  • http://twitter.com/sooperfadeaway nbk

people everywhere can vote. and vote as many times as they want.

  • https://twitter.com/jasontichenor Mr. Wet

Tracy McGrady begs to differ on that one.

  • https://twitter.com/jasontichenor Mr. Wet

Because “Anything is possible” (in a yelling voice)

    I dislike that man.

  • Caboose

KG has no right to be in the All Star game this year.
