Kevin Durant and John Wall Set For Goodman-Indy Pro Am Game

After news broke that the Indiana-based Indy Pro Am would be putting together a squad—featuring Eric Gordon, Zach Randolph and George Hill—to take on the DC-based Goodman League on September 24 at Butler University, many figured it was only a matter of time until Goodman countered with some NBAers of its own to rep its side. Ever since he led the Goodman League over the Drew League earlier this summer, Kevin Durant has become closely associated with the league, at least to the point where his name was probably one of the first many figured would be suiting up.

No huge surprise here, but KD is indeed going to take the court for Goodman against the Indy Pro Am, Mike Wells reported over the weekend. John Wall, who also repped Goodman against the Drew League, will as well.

We’ll have more updates as we get word of which other NBA players (if any) will be participating, but what we’re really waiting to hear is: Will this thing be streaming online for those unable to make it to Butler? Hopefully.

boring. watch the european championships if you want your basketball fix. These glorified all star games are for kids. Not downplaying the performances of the players but the D played in these games pff the O as well is kind of sad to watch.

I have no idea where I should post this, but looks like I may have found “the seeds” alter ego. from ESPN 2. Fact or Fiction: The Knicks will eventually form their own Big Three. — John Kenney, Knickerblogger: Fact. If the talk of lowering the maximum salary in the new CBA is true, the Knicks’ cap space in 2012 may be enough to snag a top free agent. And, if the lockout extends into the season, every game missed is another game that Chris Paul is not with the Hornets. The prophetic toast at Melo’s wedding will be fulfilled, and CP3 will be a Knick. Book it. (<—– See that???)

Wow I definitely want to go to this game. I need to know how to get tickets. I’m gonna check the Butler box office soon. I wonder who is gonna play for the Goodman team because right now it is looking as if the Indy team will win this game.
