  I think Jennings is in his element on the streetball court. It would be cool if they could play a full season with NBA players at the Rucker or Dyckman and televise the whole thing. Imagine the money they could make with all of the sponsorships and revitalize the streetball scene after the downfall of And1.

  Oh ha ha JdotD. I’ve done this at a court, it catches people off guard. The only time it doesn’t was when And1 was still popular, and when NBA Street Vol 2 was popular. But if you throw it off someone’s head, you gotta move quick.

  @TheBigL…completely different scenarios…you can’t even compare it. Brandon Jennings was an immature teenager from Compton who went out to Italy to play pro basketball. A language he didn’t speak, a culture he didn’t know, and completely unacustomed to professional basketball particularly European professional basketball- where, as is custom for players without seniority, he got pretty much no playing time. Ricky Rubio on the other hand had been playing not only professional basketball, but national team level basketball for 6 years in Spain. The kid has been a star in Spain since he was 15 years old and has had seniority at the club level even as a teenager… and been raking in millions of euros since. Lets not even begin to compare….

  @ebz…..I very seriously doubt that happened at all fam….I believe it was last year at EBC that Brandon played for 10 minutes and lit Adris up for like 20 and shut him down on the other end….I highly doubt anything would have changed.

  No European basketball player averages insane numbers, because they have different tempos and focus more on team oriented basketball. That being said, Jennings has been horrible in the NBA. Look at his pathetic shooting percentages and inability to run a team(his low assist numbers/high turnover numbers)show this. Rubio will destroy the NBA but will probably have that one season where people hate on him cause he struggles. Dirk had that year, Ginobli had that year, and it’s cause it takes at least one year to adapt. Just think if Ginobli, Sabonis, or Nocioni had come over a few seasons earlier. Essentially Rubio isn’t 21 yet, and he’s been playing pro ball for 5 plus seasons. He could play against Team Redeem with one hand, and get steals with all the ball coverage against our so-called best players. That’s insane.

  but rubio is a 6’3 guard and brandon is 6’1 with shoes on does anybody remember how many airballs ricky had when they played against the lakers last summer that the 3point line in euro leag is 3 feet shorter than the pros he isnt good for anything but homerun passes to wear as jennings is so quick that he will be better defensivly than rubio yes jennings has a poor shot selection but that is because he is not adjusted to lesss space on the court ….meaning a ton of guys big guys can go outside and shoot i can only think tof 2 guys that shoot jumpers thats near 7 ft and they played over seas so if the nba could have guys space out like the euros and not have 3 guys just stand next to and crowd the rim his percentages would be better

  They hate on Jennings b/c his percentages are extra low. His team was the offensively challenged and that hindered his assist so that’s not really the problem. His percentages aren’t even 40+

  If you see the full highlights, aside from the bounce on the head, Adris DeLeon (2 hard 2 guard) actually was the one making Brandon look foolish. Jennings twitter-dissed DeLeon right after going head-to-head last year at Rucker (“too easy to guard”), so this year’s meeting in the Dyckman League was kind of a “grudge match”, and DeLeon’s team won by something like 20 points.
