USA Basketball Announces 2009 Women’s U16 National Team
On Sunday, USA Basketball announced the inaugural 2009 USA Basketball Women’s U16 National Team roster. The trials, held at the U.S. Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs, Colo., featured 34 athletes but after three days of strict competition, the 2009-12 USA Basketball Women’s Developmental National Team Committee narrowed the list to 12. The selected team will compete in the 2009 FIBA Americas U16 Championship for Women with a site and dates to be determine by the FIBA Americas in the very near future. The following is the complete selected roster.
