Polladaday: Slam Dunk Contest?

With a vote on Twitter selecting the winner of this year’s Sprite Slam Dunk Contest, there was plenty of disagreement over who truly should’ve been anointed first place. What’s your take?

Who should've been named winner of the Sprite Slam Dunk Contest?

They said Chase only lost to Jeremy by 1%…what were people watching? Chase’s dunks were definitely not that great…I’d go Paul, Jeremy, Derrick, Chase, in that order.

    Paul George shouldve won forsure!

  • Otis

    None of the above?

Cancel dunk contest until future notice should be a voting option.

Option number five: Iman Shumpert for not associating himself with this year’s lousy dunk contest.

Paul George hands down. I can’t believe he lost.

The 360 windmill he did in the dark is probably pretty though.

I’m glad somebody from Arkansas won that being Jeremy Evans but Paul George glow in the dark dunk was nice.

I hated that dunk contest…so stupid and gimmicky. I wish players people cared about would start participating again and props were either very limited or banned.

    No one.

guess i’m the only one who thinks Evans’ double alley oop over Hayward was nice. and i don’t see the big deal about the glow in dark dunk. too gimmicky. vince carter did the same thing in 2000 with the lights on. big deal? maybe George should’ve one for jumping over Hibbert, but i’m still fine with Evans winning.
