Luis Scola Admits He’s Tired

The Rockets forward said a summer of international basketball left him fatigued at the start of training camp. From the Houston Chronicle: “Forward Luis Scola had said he began training camp tired after a challenging summer schedule with the Argentina national team but that the feeling did not slow him on the floor. That could come. Scola said he usually does not feel the impact of a summer schedule until midseason, but typically pushes through the fatigue and finds a second wind. ‘Usually what happens is in the beginning of the season I feel good,’ Scola said. ‘In the middle of the season, I get a bad time, and then I pick it back up. Usually at this part of the year I’m OK. I feel good. I just need to get back to team shape, NBA shape, get used to all the rules and the teammates and the system.'”
