Former Purdue University forward Robbie Hummel will begin his professional career in Spanish league Liga ACB. Hummel, who was selected by the Minnesota Timberwolves with the 58th pick in this year’s Draft, has signed a deal with Obradoiro CAB, a club based in Santiago de Compostela in northwest Spain. Back-to-back torn ACLs drastically pushed back Hummel’s draft stock, but the 23 year-old forward still managed to average 16.4 points and 7.2 rebounds during his senior season at Purdue.
Thanks to everyone for the congrats! Cant wait to play for @obradoirocab…I’m lookin forward to getting over to Spain to get to work!
