Sneakers & Ale Hosts Fundraiser to Stop Human Trafficking

Sneakers & Ale cordially invites you to attend their upcoming charity fundraiser, which will advocate and raise money for the Polaris Project and its fight to end Human Trafficking—an event SLAM is helping to put on. The affair will take place this Saturday, July 27, from 7-10pm at The Paper Box, located at 17 Meadow Street in East Williamsburg, Brooklyn.

Sneakers & Ale is a lifestyle brand that represents artistry and creativity and demonstrates that artistry can be found almost anywhere, in almost anything. A metaphor for our way of life, S&A’s premium brand offers an exciting, authentic, richly rewarding experience in productive Self Expression. They’re also dedicated to making a difference in the world. Unfortunately, it’s estimated that more than 1 million children are currently enslaved in more than 150 countries, including the United States. That insufferable fact, alongside many others, requires teamwork to surmount. During the event, Sneakers & Ale and guests will have the opportunity to participate in several activities to help quell this problem. Attendees will receive educational introduction on how to help end Human Trafficking, witness several live performances by notable poets, singers and turntablists, see a fashion show, have a free craft beer tasting courtesy of Lagunitas, participate in a raffles and a silent auction and get some free goodies (including your favorite magazine!).

Tickets to the event cost $25 and can be ordered via ticketfly.com.
