Gallery: MJ x SLAM

On Michael Jordan’s 49th birthday, we look at his history with this magazine.

Michael Jordan made his debut on the front of SLAM in July 1995, and ever since, he’s led the way with 17 covers (including special issues), countless features and an infinite amount of love. Today, Money turns 49 (crazy, right!?), and to celebrate we’ve compiled all of the shots of MJ on the cover of this mag since its inception. Feel free to tell us in the comments which one is your favorite (and why), and of course, happy birthday, Mike!

The 100th issue cover was a total disappointment. So much potential for amazing, and it ended up being underwhelming.
