Our tradition of not unveiling our new covers until they are actually on newsstands is not likely to change much in the future, but the SLAM 160 cover is just too special to keep under wraps.

We’ll explain a little more about how we’ve already shot Anthony in a Hornets jersey in print and on the site when this ish drops for real in about 12 days, but for now just enjoy a dope, timely image of one of the most exciting players to enter the NBA in a long time.

    Plus this reminds me of when Oden and Durant were entering the draft. I say get MKG and with the 10th pick get Perry Jones. But there are so many possible sleepers in this draft. Beal, Barnes, Waiters, Drummond, Harkless, Lamb,, Sulliger, TJones, Robinson is not a bad pick either. Don’t sleep on my boy Henson either…did everybody kind of forget about him? Geez, All this Davis talk has you guys blinded by the light. Nice cover tho

    He is 19 not 20 and won’t be until March 2013. With that out of the way, this guy is better than KG or Camby at 19 by far and has the shoulders to pick up much more weight than either. He will dominate the league by the end of his 2nd year.
