Polladaday: What Will Shaq Do?

The free agent frenzy of 2010 has finally passed, but a few noteworthy players are still unsigned, most notably Shaquille O’Neal. While this will probably be his last contract-if he signs one-he’s still capable of helping someone, somewhere, right? So, where would you like to see him go?

    If he doesn’t go to the Heat then he’s tripping. Shaq has more than enough cash. Why won’t he sign for the minimum to get that 5 ring ?

    I have 2 problms w/ shaq if he went back to MIA. 1) ppl talk of his ego interfering, i don’t see that personally as a big problem if he wants to win and tie Kobe for rings. 2) the RU-paul comments about bosh may also be a factor in this

    If he’s going to retire his number in LA, it might make sense to end his career there….. if he’s willing to come off the bench and play backup for Bynum, and he shouldn’t have to worry about playing time either, based on Andrew’s consistent annual injury.

    Shaq’s got something left in the tank. I would not be surprised if he accepts less money to play for Miami. He would be a good fit, especially with those personalities.

    He has a better chance of winning a title in L.A but he’ll have to come off the bench. In Miami he’ll start but they won’t have enough in the long run.

    But would Miami forget that Shaq trashed their medical staff when he went to PHX (giving the PHX trainers praise and blame to the Miami trainers)? Shaq is a cancer to a team, a ring chaser and has burned a lot of bridges in the NBA

    I’m down for another run in lake town with shaq (as a back up center) that is the place he should retire!!! Kobe was workn it out with Bell, why not a reconsile here too? Tell me that lakers with that team would not kill people??
