The good news for Boston is that at least Bassy won’t have to be the best player on the team and face of the franchise. Steph even weighs in with a quote of his own: “The NBA is a thinking man’s game. You’ve got to play the game in your mind. [He has to be] more focused. Last year, he had some distractions because he wasn’t playing.” Good one, Steph. He also might have been distracted by the filming of Guns in Pillows on a Plane.
But I’m sure this will work out great for the Celtics.
