Avery Bradley May Be Out for Remainder of the Playoffs

According to the Boston Globe and Herald, Avery Bradley and his injured left shoulder have played their last game this season: “According to a source, Bradley will definitely need surgery to repair his damaged left shoulder, and there’s a good chance he won’t play again in the playoffs. He has missed the last two games, including last night’s 82-75 Game 6 loss to the Sixers. ‘It’s frustrating,’ Bradley said. ‘All I can do is try to get stronger.’ […] Bradley has missed the past two games with soreness in both shoulders, and the team’s brass along with Bradley’s representatives appear close to deciding to sit him for the remainder of the playoffs. Celtics coach Doc Rivers called Bradley’s injury ‘day to day’ but said he was not sure when he would return. Bradley, the source said, will make the ultimate decision, so there is a slight possibility he could return, but the question is whether the organization would allow one of its top young players to play under such circumstances. ‘He’s looking at surgery in the face,’ the source said, adding that if Bradley did further damage to the shoulder, he could take one year to recover.”
