Brad Miller Injured His Ankle

The Rockets’ new big man will miss the start of training camp due to a bum left wheel. From the Chronicle: “The Rockets’ hopes to be retooled at center will have to be put on hold with Brad Miller forced to miss the start of the team’s training camp and early preseason games with a sprained left ankle suffered Tuesday. The injury is not considered serious, but is expected to keep Miller out for 10 days to two weeks. The Rockets are expected to bring another center for the start of camp Saturday. With Rockets center Yao Ming expected to work his way up to a limit of 24 minutes per game, Miller was signed as Yao’s primary backup at center.”
