Brandon Rush Signing 1-Year, $3.5 Million Deal With Timberwolves

According to Brandon Rush’s rep, the free agent swingman has agreed to a one-year, $3.5 million contract with the Minnesota Timberwolves.

Rush, 30, appeared in 72 games for the Golden State Warriors last season with a scoring average of 4.2 points.

He’s a 40 percent career 3-point shooter.

Per the AP:

Mark Bartelstein of Priority Sports says Rush came to agreement with the Timberwolves on Wednesday. He gives them some much-needed shooting off the bench.

The Timberwolves badly needed to add a shooter to a team that was near the bottom of the league in 3-point field goals and attempts last season.

Rush is the second signing of a quiet summer for the Timberwolves. They added center Cole Aldrich on Monday.
