‘Caron Butler Day’ All Star Basketball Games

Racine & Kenosha Boys and Girls High School Basketball All-Stars

WHAT: Two-Time NBA All-Star Caron Butler will hold basketball exhibition featuring the top boys and girls basketball players facing off in regional all-star games in honor of Caron Butler Day, an annual recognition of Butler’s dedication to his hometown of Racine, Wi. The games are free of admission and free refreshments will be provided.

WHEN: Saturday, June 8

FACTS: In, 2007, the City of Racine, Wis. proclaimed that June 8 would be known as “Caron Butler Day” in recognition of the Two-Time NBA All-Star’s steadfast dedication to his hometown as exhibited by his money and time donated throughout his 10-year NBA career. Last summer, Butler pledged $200,000 to four local charities including United Way of Racine, YMCA, George Bray Center and the Juneteenth Foundation. Butler also hosts annual basketball tournaments such as the Caron Butler Day All Star Games.
