Cavaliers Coaching Search Down To Four Candidates

Cleveland is taking its dear time finding a replacement for Mike Brown (again). According to the Morning Journal, though, the end could be near.

The Cavaliers are entering the final phase of their far-reaching head-coaching search. They could pick their next head coach by the end of the week. The finalists have been established. For a team that has another mandate to make the playoffs from its owner, it’s a bit odd that they are going after such unproven commodities. For now, we’ll keep Charlotte Hornets assistant coach Mark Price in the mix. Here’s a look at the Final Foursome:

Alvin Gentry, 59, Los Angeles Clippers associate head coach; Tyronn Lue, 37, Clippers assistant; Price, 50, has been an assistant with the Hornets; David Blatt, 55, ex-coach of Maccabi Tel Aviv.
