DeMarcus Cousins Sprains Ankle, X-Rays Negative (VIDEO)

Kings All-Star big man DeMarcus Cousins had to leave last night’s loss to Memphis in the fourth quarter after spraining his ankle. Check out the painful video:

But afterwards, his x-rays were—thankfully—negative, meaning there are no tears or broken bones that might keep him out long-term. He’s day-to-day for the moment. From the Kings’ official team website:

Sacramento Kings center DeMarcus Cousins suffered a sprained left ankle late in the fourth quarter of tonight’s game at Memphis.

X-rays taken after the contest were negative and Cousins will be listed as day to day moving forward.
