Doin’ it in the Park: Pick-Up Basketball, NYC, an independent film that explores the definition, history, culture and social impact of New York’s basketball scene, will be holding a free screening in Brooklyn at the Weeksville Heritage Center (1698 Bergen St. between Rochester/Buffalo Ave.) on Sunday, September  9 (has been changed from Saturday due to rain) at 8pm. Doors open at 5PM, with the film’s Co-Director and streetball legend DJ Bobbito Garcia to start spinning on the ones and twos at 6PM, and the film’s showtime slated to begin at 8pm. There will be a garden party and free BBQ for all attendees prior to the film.
