Foot Locker, Footaction and Champs Sports Introduce New App Launch Reservation Procedure

If you think you’re waltzing into a Foot Locker on the Saturday morning of a major sneaker release and copping a pair, you’re out of your mind. But if you’re a real sneaker fiend, you already know that. Well, the process of buying new sneakers has stepped into the future.

Today, Foot Locker, Footaction and Champs Sports announced a brand new App Reservation Procedure. “Camping out” has evolved into the digital world, as Foot Locker’s new “reservation” feature inside of its phone app should help ease the process of reserving and buying sneakers. And you can get a “head start” in line for sought-after kicks if you’re a VIP customer or “check in” at a retail location.

The App Reservation Procedure is launching for Foot Locker, Footaction and Champs Sports locations only in Tampa, Florida starting next week—for the June 4 release of two different colorways of the Air Jordan XI Low. Plans for a national rollout of the reservation procedure are coming soon—we think.

To learn more about how this new procedure will work, right down to the nuts and bolts of what you need to do via instructional videos, head to one of the brands’ landing pages here:
