After winning his first ring a few months ago, guard Iman Shumpert has remained in the spotlight, thanks in large part to his wife Teyana Taylor. The actress and recording artist starred in Kanye West’s music video for “Fade”, recreating a scene from “Flashdance.” Shump got his screen time as well, making a brief cameo towards the end of the clip.
Now, Iman, who is known to dress boldly, and Taylor are taking in New York City Fashion Week. At a party hosted by Opening Ceremony this past Sunday, the Cleveland Cavalier praised Teyana.

As the rest of America used Sunday night for mainlining Buffalo wings and watching football, fashion week parties raged throughout the city. Opening Ceremony held its seasonal blow-out at the Pennsy, a new food court next to Penn Station.
The party took place next to Madison Square Garden, where the former Knick Iman Shumpert once played. He attended with his wife, Teyana Taylor, who starred in Kanye West’s “Fade” video. “My wife is flourishing right now,” Mr. Shumpert said, who beamed in Alexander Wang. “It’s special.”
He’s not wrong. The music industry has treated Teyena and Shump well. Keep in mind, the NBA champion is known to drop his own tracks and freestyles.
