Jeremy Lin Thinks Knicks Fans Booing Kris Humphries Was ‘Crap’

New York Knicks fans at Madison Square Garden will pick out certain players and boo them mercilessely (which angers the Knicks when it happens to one of their own, understandably.) Point guard sensation Jeremy Lin didn’t enjoy hearing the MSG faithful boo his buddy Kris Humphries on Monday night. From the NY Post: “There’s one thing that Knicks fans and Jeremy Lin may disagree about. Lin has become an instant fan favorite with his unbelievable play that has spurred the Knicks to eight wins in 10 games. But the point guard thinks his adoring supporters, and crowds around the league, are a little Linsane for booing Nets forward Kris Humphries. The Garden crowd jeered Humprhies consistently throughout the Nets’ 100-92 win over the Knicks on Monday night. After the game, Humphries said he ran into Lin in the tunnel outside the locker room. ‘He’s a really nice guy,’ Humphries said of Lin on ESPN Radio. ‘He just said, ‘Hey, I don’t know why they boo you, but I think it’s crap. You are playing really well, and stuff.’ That was nice of him to say. He’s a really nice guy, competitor. It’s nice to see great things happen for nice people.'”
