John Kuester Disappointed By Pistons Fans

Not quite sure a guy with so much controversy swirling around him should be slamming his own (few) fans, but to each his own I suppose. The Detroit News reports from last night’s Pistons/Lakers game: “They chanted ‘MVP’ when Bryant went to the foul line, quite a contract from some of the Pistons’ memorable seasons. ‘I remember coming here in 2004 and ’05 and this place was electric,’ said Bryant, who shot 11 for 20 in 32 minutes. ‘This is our job and (winning is) what we’re supposed to do.’ Pistons coach John Kuester clearly wasn’t pleased with his team’s showing, or fans’ allegiance to Bryant. ‘To tell you the truth, I was disappointed,’ Kuester said ‘I was here in ’04 when we won the championship. There were some of our fans here, too.'”
